Consul was a fantastic athlete, competing in show jumping in the Netherlands and transitioning to dressage upon his importation to the U.S.A. The international show jumper Judgement ISF, Crown, and the four-star eventer Critical Decision, are just two of his top offspring. Consul offspring are happy and very brave. They are the first to come to the fence to check out visitors and explore new things. Consul does throw white, and has foals that are born dark brown/ black, as well as beautiful chestnuts. They are trainable, progress quickly and desire the opportunity to learn new things. Like their father, Consul’s babies are successful in dressage and jumping. They have talent for jumping big fences in a brave manner, but they also have the style it takes to win on the A circuit in the hunters. Consul has produced two internationally ranked eventers, as well as many Grand Prix dressage competitors.
Divine Diva d'Eleganza is an attractive mare with a calm and brave personnaility. Uphill with long stride in trot and canter, she is well developed with good topline. Beautifull and feminine, she carries many qualities of her sire, Diarado. Divine Diva comes from a solid reconised thoroughbred damline, the line tb-9-b.
Dam's sire, Diarado, Holstein licensing winner, stallion performance test record winner, German championship bronze medallist (with two marks of 9.0) and successful in 1.45m show jumping competitions. His description by breed director Dr.Nissen reads as follows: “The champion stallion oozes incredible charisma and epitomizes modern sport horse type. His magnificent type goes along with a good topline, a strong back and four perfectly correct legs. His basic paces improved from fairly good walk to good trot, crowned by a perfect canter. But his presentation reached fever pitch in the free jumping phase where he demonstrated perfect judgement from the very first approach, jumping with a flexible body, excellent leg technique and unbelievable scope, all of which earned him a 10.0.”
